Health & Safety
Pulsewave SIGNAL RUSH · Last updated: 27 June 2026
⚠ PHOTOSENSITIVE SEIZURE WARNING. Pulsewave SIGNAL RUSH is a fast, music-reactive rhythm game that contains flashing lights, rapid motion, high-contrast colours and strobing effects synced to the music.
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns, even with no history of epilepsy or seizures. If you or anyone in your family has an epileptic condition or has had seizures of any kind, consult your doctor before playing.
Stop playing immediately if you experience any of these
While playing, if you experience any of the following symptoms — stop playing at once and consult a doctor before resuming:
- Dizziness, lightheadedness or disorientation
- Altered vision, eye or muscle twitches
- Loss of awareness or convulsions
- Involuntary movements
- Nausea, headache or any change in consciousness
Reduce your risk
- Play in a well-lit room and sit a good distance from the screen.
- Play on the smallest screen available to you when possible.
- Avoid playing when tired or short on sleep.
- Use the in-game “Reduced Flashing” setting and lower the screen-shake / glow in Settings → Graphics if you are sensitive to bright or flashing effects.
- Take a break of 10–15 minutes every hour, even if you don't think you need it.
General comfort & well-being
- Motion sensitivity: the game involves fast forward motion and tunnels. If you feel motion discomfort, take a break and stop if it persists.
- Hearing: protect your hearing — avoid prolonged play at high volume, especially with headphones.
- Repetitive strain: stop if your hands, wrists or arms become tired or sore. Rest before continuing.
- Posture & eye strain: sit comfortably, blink regularly and rest your eyes periodically.
This game is intended for entertainment. Listen to your body — if anything feels wrong, stop and rest. When in doubt, consult a medical professional.
